Safe packaging is mandatory for transport, handling and deposit of the wastes.

Types of packaging

• Generally, big bags, steel drums or steel containers are used in underground waste disposal plants.
• For underground reutilisation, pneumatically transportable wastes are received from silo truck and are then conditioned or packed at our plants.
• At some facilities, big bags are also used for underground reutilisation, or wastes may also be delivered in bulk.

Consultation and procurement

As packing materials need to meet certain standards, we shall be glad to advise you in selecting an appropriate solution.

Upon request we will also take on procurement of this packing material. In doing so we profit from the conditions offered by the K+S Group’s centralised purchasing.
