The first underground waste disposal plant worldwide, at the Herfa- Neurode site in Hesse has been in operation since 1972, and is still run by the K+S group.

 

In the mid-1990s K+S opened a second underground disposal plant in Zielitz near Magdeburg, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Delivery and packing

by truck or by rail:

  • big bags (on pallets)
  • steel barrels (on pallets)
  • steel containers (on stands or on pallets)

by silo truck:

  • pneumatically transportable wastes
